A Message From The Couple

Welcome to our celebration!

We’re so excited to share this special day with all of you. From meeting on a dating app to buying our first home in Seattle, our journey has been filled with love, laughter, and super evenly-matched games of ping pong.

We look forward to becoming dog parents and starting a family, and we’re grateful to have you with us as we begin this new chapter.

FAQ's

If you have a question, we likely have an answer for you. Please check out our FAQ's below.

Is there a gifts registry?

For those who would like to bless us with a gift, you can access our wedding registries via the Zola link below.

www.zola.com/registry/tofunmiandbrian

When is the RSVP deadline?

Kindly RSVP here on our wedding website by Thursday, May 8, 2025, so we can ensure our wedding plans reflect an accurate guest count. All invited guests will be able to RSVP once we send out our wedding invitations.

What if I do not RSVP on time?

We want to ensure that our wedding takes into consideration the comfort of every guest who intends on attending.

If we do not receive your RSVP by the deadline, we will assume you will not be attending and our final plans will reflect this.

Can I bring a plus one?

We have already factored in how many plus-ones we can provide to each of our guests. If we're expecting you to bring a plus-one, you will be able to RSVP, here on our website, for yourself and a limited number of plus-ones.

Unfortunately, our venue limits the amount of guests we can invite so we must stress that our wedding is an invite-only event where guests must RSVP by the Thursday, May 8, 2025 deadline.

What should I do in between weddings?

Please feel free to explore Wrightsville and the surrounding areas, or relax at your hotel until the evening wedding and reception.

What time should I arrive?

Our traditional Yoruba engagement ceremony will begin promptly at 10 AM. We ask that all of our guests arrive and are seated no later than 9:45 AM.

Once the traditional wedding concludes at 12 noon, guests are encouraged to go back to their hotel or explore the city and return to the venue at 4:45 PM for our American ceremony.

Where should I park?

There is convenient complimentary parking at the venue.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The traditional Yoruba engagement ceremony is tented, while the wedding ceremony is outdoors and the reception is tented.

What should I wear?

For the traditional Yoruba engagement ceremony, wedding ceremony, and reception, guests are invited to wear garden formal or cocktail attire or traditional African Attire.

Also, if you would like to participate, the color palette for the wedding day is shades of green.

We kindly request that guests refrain from wearing white.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We would love for you to take photos and share them with us. However, because we want to ensure our photographer and videographer get the best possible images, please refrain from taking photos during our ceremonies.

Whom should I call with questions?

If you have any questions not answered on our wedding website or you are having trouble RSVP'ing, you can email our Wedding Planner at guest@EventDesignByBE.com and someone will respond to you within two business days.
